Nigerian fashion label Orange Culture presented The In-Between, its Pre-Fall 2026 collection, on 28 October 2026 during Lagos Fashion Week. The off-site showcase introduced a visual exploration of bold colour, distinctive prints, textured details and statement silhouettes, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to expressive contemporary fashion.
Founded by creative director Adebayo Oke-Lawal in 2011, Orange Culture has built its identity around challenging conventional dress codes through androgynous designs, Nigerian influences and a distinctive approach to self-expression. With The In-Between, the label continued to explore the relationship between structure and fluidity, bringing familiar wardrobe staples into focus through unexpected proportions and considered construction.
One standout look featured a black double-breasted jacket with an asymmetric, layered front, paired with voluminous trousers that introduced movement and dimension. The ensemble demonstrated how tailoring can move beyond traditional conventions, using silhouette and construction rather than colour alone to make a statement.

The collection’s wider visual language, highlighted by Lagos Fashion Week, brought together bold colours, prints and tactile details. These elements reflect Orange Culture’s evolving design perspective, where contemporary African fashion is not confined to a single aesthetic but remains open to experimentation, individuality and new interpretations of familiar forms.
Presented on the opening day of Lagos Fashion Week, The In-Between also contributed to a wider conversation about the evolution of African design, balancing distinctive creative identities with contemporary approaches to craftsmanship and dressing.
