More than the perception. More than the assumptions. This is Londie London; telling her story, her way.
If you’ve been following South African entertainment, you already know the name. But do you really know the woman? That’s exactly the question “Life With Londie London” is about to answer and Mzansi will never look at her the same way again.
The brand-new fly-on-the-wall reality series premieres exclusively on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) on Thursday, 7 May 2026 at 8PM, with fresh episodes dropping every Thursday. This isn’t just another celebrity show. This is a reckoning, a reclamation, and a revelation, delivered straight from one of South Africa’s most magnetic personalities.

Before the glam, the drama, and the followers, she was simply Londiwe Siphiwokuhle Zulu, born on 13 April 1992 in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, raised in a musically gifted family where her father was an isicathamiya singer and her brothers were active in hip hop.
Music wasn’t just background noise in the Zulu household; it was a lifestyle. And Londie was absorbing every note from the age of six.
Her academic path took her to the University of Johannesburg, where she originally pursued jewellery design, but her passion for music eventually led her to shift into entertainment. That pivot would change everything. Her first public recognition came when she placed as first runner-up in the UJ Idols competition in 2013, a moment that confirmed the path she was always meant to walk.
Her career received a crucial boost after she secured a collaboration with Ghanaian singer D-Black, which put her on the radar of industry heavyweights. By 2017, she had signed with Ambitiouz Entertainment and released her debut single “He Goes”, a romantic Afro-pop banger that earned her a nomination at the 2018 Dance Music Awards South Africa and announced her arrival loud and clear.
More Than a Pretty Face: The Empire She Built
Here’s what the headlines often miss. Londie London is a serious businesswoman. She is a singer, songwriter, businesswoman and brand influencer, whose hustle extends far beyond the music and the cameras. She owns “Londie London Braid” in collaboration with Afrotex Hair Extension Company, operates a salon in Bryanston, Johannesburg, and is the founder of Laced by Londie London; a lingerie brand built on the foundation of body confidence and women’s empowerment. She’s also ventured into fragrance, fashion, and brand partnerships, building an ecosystem around her name that is entirely her own.

This is the version of Londie London the public doesn’t always see; the one who is up early, working late, and building something that will outlast any season of television.
Millions of South Africans were first introduced to Londie when she joined The Real Housewives of Durban in Season 2 in 2022. She brought fire, fashion, and a raw vulnerability that viewers couldn’t look away from. After appearing on The Real Housewives of Durban and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: South Africa, she now has her own reality show, and honestly? It was only a matter of time.
The industry took notice too. In November 2025, she was announced as Best Female TV Personality at the National Film and TV Awards; a nod from the industry that confirmed what fans already knew: Londie London is television gold.
But “Life With Londie London” is a completely different animal. Unlike her time on RHODurban, where she was part of an ensemble cast, this series puts Londie at the centre of the story. No ensemble. No co-stars pulling focus. No group dynamics to dilute her narrative. Just Londie; front and centre, on her own terms.
What Can You Expect? Everything
The show follows London as she rebuilds and reclaims her space, both personally and professionally. Viewers can expect an unfiltered look at her life as a mother, daughter, singer, businesswoman and girlfriend, as well as the people who support her behind the scenes. Londie herself has been refreshingly honest about what this show means to her:

“This show is deeply personal. People are going to see sides of me they’ve never seen before. I’m more than just a Housewife, and this is me showing my strength, my hard work, and the highs and lows that come with it.”
And on what makes this format unlike anything she’s done before:
“I’m at the centre of it and viewers will get to see more of me and all my different sides. It’s very personal and I can’t hide behind anyone. I’m front and centre, baring it all; the good, the bad, and the ugly.”
On why the timing feels right:
“A lot has happened in my life, and for a long time people only saw bits and pieces. Now, I feel more sure of who I am, so it made sense to tell my story in my own voice.”
The Chapter That Changed Her: Motherhood
Perhaps the most compelling thread woven through “Life With Londie London” is what it means to be a mother in the public eye. London says motherhood reshaped her entire outlook: “I think about the future more. Every decision I make is about creating a better life for my kids.”
Opening herself up to the cameras in moments of real, unguarded emotion didn’t come without cost. “The hardest part was letting people see me when I’m not okay. It’s easy to show the strong side, but this show needed honesty; and that can be uncomfortable.”

And when it came to her children appearing on screen, the mama bear in her was clear: “The world can be unkind, and protecting them is my biggest priority.”
That kind of honest, grounded vulnerability is exactly what makes this show worth watching.
South African television has long deserved authentic stories told by women who refuse to be flattened into a single narrative. For years, Londie London has been perceived, debated, and defined by outside voices. From the tabloids to the timelines, everyone has had something to say about who she is. Now, the pen is in her hands.
As Londie herself once said: “People often form opinions based on what they see in the media and miss the opportunity to get to know who you truly are. That gap in understanding can create tension before any words are even exchanged.”
“Life With Londie London” closes that gap. It is the correction. The context. The full, unedited story that Mzansi has been waiting for; whether they knew it or not.
