Milan’s fashion calendar is about to welcome a new name from West Africa. On 23 September 2026, Ghanaian designer Kenneth Tetteh will present “The Art of Form”, a menswear showcase staged in partnership with the Afro Fashion Association, at Via Monte Napoleone 5; one of the most storied addresses in Italian luxury retail, running from 11 AM to 6 PM.
The presentation arrives under the banner of Afro Fashion Week Milano, the platform founded in 2015 by Michelle Francine Ngonmo that has spent the past decade positioning African and Afro-descended designers on one of fashion’s biggest stages. Afro Fashion Week Milano brings the global Afro Fashion Week format to one of the most visible fashion capitals of the world through both haute and street couture, showcasing the diversity of styles and expression across contemporary Afro design while encouraging investment in African and African-descended creative businesses. He has also shown a fluency with heritage textiles, having used white kente fabric to design a wedding gown that set a new bridal trend. That instinct for reworking traditional cloth into contemporary form is presumably part of what “The Art of Form” will explore; only this time, the lens turns to menswear, per the campaign’s tailored, monochrome visual identity.
