I never thought of becoming a model, I just liked vintage and street wear fashion so what really inspired me is when I got scouted and started to explore the other sides of fashion(Modeling). I loved what I saw so I do not regret taking this path.

After I got scouted and I got to know about high fashion modeling, all these brands, runways, campaigns and editorials..I told myself I can do this too.

It is my first Polaroid shoot, It was raw and it showed my true self and it made me love who I am more because I used to be very insecured about how I look.

How do you prepare for a new photo shoot?
I start with taking care of my skin and exercising to be fit because you do not want to be looking tired in the pictures especially if you are doing it for a client, you need to be professional so exercising is great. Then, I go on YouTube and Pinterest to get more posing ideas.

As far as I know height requirements for a Male fashion model is 5’11 to 6’3 and 5’9 to 6’0 for a female model but there are different types of modeling you can fix yourself into if you don’t meet the height fashion requirements. And note some agencies accept all height types.

I tell myself it is a phase in life then I get myself distracted. I cry when I have to.
What advice would you give to aspiring models?
Modeling is not an easy job to do, it takes a lot of courage, learning and prayers to be successful. Watch videos and read alot about it to be self- educated, follow the important icons in the modeling industry to learn from them as well.
What would you like to advice to those who lack confidence?
It is not your fault to not have confidence because you might have gone through some childhood trauma but if you do not try to overcome it, you won’t be better and opportunities will pass you by. You won’t get to achieve anything in this world rather the world will offer you what it feels like you deserve.
