Kai Collective Wants YOU (and Your Girls) This Summer

London-based fashion label Kai Collective has become known for one thing above all else: dressing women in prints and silhouettes bold enough to be seen from across a room. Founded by Nigerian-British entrepreneur Fisayo Longe, the brand built its reputation on the viral Gaia dress and has since grown into a go-to name for vibrant, confidence-driven contemporary fashion. Its second installment of the “Everyday Summer” line; the follow-up collection sometimes referred to by fans as “Kai Summer Part II” continues that trajectory with a mix of wardrobe staples and statement pieces built for the warmer months.

A Second Chapter, Not a Repeat

Where the original Everyday Summer collection leaned into breezy basics, its sequel expands the range considerably. Longe herself teased the drop across social media ahead of launch, and promotional material for the collection described it as playful and versatile, built for pieces that carry a look from daytime errands into evening plans. The collection blends easy separates with more elevated eveningwear, so the same drop can outfit a beach day and a rooftop dinner.

Standout Pieces

The collection’s signature print, “Lowla,” anchors several of its most eye-catching items, including:

Samira Printed Organza Long Sleeve Hooded Dress
The Azaya Short Dungarees

Denim also plays a bigger role in this drop than in past Kai collections. The Azaya Short Dungarees brings a casual, logo-driven edge, while the Daya Cut-Out Maxi Dress in green offers a more tailored option for evening.

Rounding out the range are logo-branded basics; the Nao Cotton Logo Embroidered Baby Tee which lean into Kai’s signature ruching and body-conscious detailing.

The Kai Girls Summer Diary

Alongside its product drops, Kai Collective has launched a companion campaign called the Kai Girls Summer Diary, announced on Instagram. The premise: the brand is following groups of “Kai Girls” traveling and celebrating together over the summer; girls’ trips, concerts, boat days, rooftop dinners, beach clubs, festivals, and carnival with stops from Tokyo to Marrakesh to New York to Brazil. Kai Collective will select a handful of groups and surprise them by covering one experience during their trip.

Who can apply: groups traveling or attending events this summer, where the entire group will be wearing Kai during the experience, and who are comfortable documenting the day and having Kai share that content across its channels.

How to apply: submit via this LINK, including where you’re going, your travel/event dates, who you’re traveling with, the experience you’d like Kai to cover, which Kai pieces the group will wear, and your Instagram handle.

Everyday Summer 2 and the Kai Girls Summer Diary together show a brand leaning hard into community-driven marketing; not just selling clothes, but building a shared identity around them.
