Kwame Koda and Solani Collective are bringing artists, designers, filmmakers, and music producers into one room and the conversation is going to be real.
There’s a certain kind of event that doesn’t just fill up your calendar but it fills up your cup. SUNMAN is that kind of event.
On 7th April, Solani Collective and Kwame Koda are taking over The Orange Room in London for an evening that blends art exhibition with raw, unfiltered creative conversation. From 6PM to 10PM, it’s a space built for the people who are out here figuring it out and doing it on their own terms.
No gatekeepers. No corporate panel energy. Just creatives being honest about the journey.
So What’s SUNMAN?
At its core, SUNMAN is two things in one: an art exhibition and a Creative Talk Panel. You walk into a room that’s already alive with creative work, soak in the atmosphere, and then settle in for a panel discussion that actually has something to say.
The theme? Navigating the industry, creating without compromise, and figuring it out as you go. If that sounds like your everyday reality as a creative, that’s exactly the point.
The Panel Breaking It Down

Hosted by Annabell and anchored by Kwame Koda as the main speaker, the conversation pulls in four guest speakers who each bring something different to the table:

Big Cymps is a fashion designer who understands that building a brand from the ground up is equal parts vision and hustle. Sally Poley, an independent curator, brings the kind of discerning eye that shapes what culture pays attention to.

Rasheed Alfa – Creative Director and Filmmaker who knows that every frame you put into the world is a declaration. And Akoto Musik, Executive Music Producer, represents the behind-the-scenes grind that keeps the whole creative ecosystem moving.
Together, they cover fashion, film, music, and curation. The full creative spread and all the messy, beautiful, unglamorous reality that comes with building in each of those spaces independently.
Come for the Talk, Stay for the Room

One of the most underrated parts of events like this? The people you meet before the panel even starts. SUNMAN is deliberately built as a space to connect; not just consume. So whether you leave with a new collaborator, a new perspective, or just a new follow on Instagram, the room itself is part of the experience.
Come through, learn, and link with other creatives who are in the same chapter as you.
