How did you get started as a travel creator or influencer?
On my first trip to South Africa, I met some Russian girls in the elevator on my way to my apartment and they asked questions about Ghana and where I’m from. It struck me to share more of Ghana and I though I could do that excellently through travel.

When did you choose to become a Travel Influencer? Have you decided right away or is it something that has developed slowly?
It developed slowly.
What is the first trip you remember taking?
Traveling to Nigeria in 2017
How often do you travel?
For roadtrips as often as I can. Mostly once every month. For international trips, at most 3 times a year.
Do you prefer solo travel or with someone else?
I’m yet to try Solo travelling. So far I prefer travelling in a small group of 2/3 people.
What do you love most about travel photography?
The beauty and art between humans connecting with scenery stands out for me.

What is the best vacation you’ve ever taken? Where did you go and why did you love it?
My best vacation so far was to Wild Win Resort in Kumasi. I loved it because I got to experience Lake Bosumtwi and also went on an equestrian tour.
What are some of your most memorable trips?
South Africa, Poland, Germany, Ivory Coast, Netherlands and Nigeria.
Is this a full time job for you?
It’s not
How do you fund your travel?
Mostly through side jobs and savings.
Have you been anywhere which turned out to be totally different from how you imagined? If so, how?
Not Yet.
What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your work?
One of the biggest challenges is to get clients who understand your value and are willing afford your worth.
What is something you wish more destinations knew about working with influencers?
Sometimes, we only need access and not the money. It’s sad that most destinations up till now don’t know how to work with influencers or do business in terms of marketing. A single shoutout or tag from an influencer can make them millions and so I feel whenever an influencer or creator visits a destination, there should be the freedom to create. Thanking an influencer with a good bowl of fufu or paying off their transport could go a long way to help.
Have you had any bad experiences while traveling?
So many. Weather, food, cultures, people everything!
Do you have a bucket list? If so what is on it?
Senegal, Namibia, Seychelles, Kenya, Turkey, Thailand

What would you say is the biggest value travel influencers or creators bring to hotels and hospitality venues?
Reach (access to a wide range of audiences) and sales
What has been your most rewarding travel moment?
When I met a friend’s dad for the first time in Germany. He gave me lots of goodies to return home and I didn’t have to think of buying anything with the little money I had.
What is your best travel tip you always give people?
Always go out of the city. There are numerous hidden gems. Take a break at least once a week to do something relaxing. Learn to live even if it’s watching the sunset!
If you could only ever visit one more place in your life, where would it be and why?
Volta Region. My hometown and it’s the best in tourism!
