On December 18, 2022, Boyedoe debuted its Wabi-Sabi Summer Spring 23 Collection. The idea of wabi-sabi encourages us to continually look for the beauty in what is flawed. The collection is a bold and eclectic statement on the acceptance and appreciation of the impermanent, imperfect, and incomplete nature of everything. It is inspired by the ancient Japanese art form of Kintsugi, in which broken objects are mended with gold fillings, giving them “golden scars.”
