The premier of the Fashion Road Awards is set to make waves come 27th November, 2021.
Fashion Road Awards 2021 is the invention of renowned model and fashion icon Giuseppe Nkansah: a Ghanaian born UK-based fashinista.
The award recognizes and honors excellence in Fashion, Art and Entertainment among the black community in Africa and the diaspora, particularly the United Kingdom, United States, the Caribbean, Canada, Asia, Europe and many other parts of the world.
This, the founder has said, is pertinent because it ensure the identification and appreciation of talented individuals of the black community wherever they may be across the globe.
Mr. Nkansah has said that the scheme’s primary intention is to motivate and recognize the effort of African artistic prodigy while also serving as an inspiration for upcoming wannabes in the Fashion, Art and Entertainment industry.
He tells the story of his very own struggle in colorful detail to prove that, truly, no green pastures exist except the ones that one perseveres to create. As such, his story serves as an allusion for all to reference.
The online event that will be screened live on YouTube will have four main categories: including Business, Creative Arts, Fashion and the Outstanding Woman of the Year categories.
The latter, sports nominations such as the smart and beautiful actress Jackie Appiah, the notable fashion designer Afua Sam, and the allure of runway queen Mafae Yukon Belasco the Miss World Philippines 2003.
Personalities such as Ameyaw Debrah, Adam Genato, Alberta Ablordeppey have nominations and will feature live in the event.
Guissepe Nkansah posits that “There is never a shortcut to success but hard work complemented with a desire to achieve, determination and always being motivated to go after your goals.”
He shares in the words of former American President Barack Obama to spark an “Audacity of Hope” amongst blacks the world over. It is to say “Don’t [just] follow your dreams, Chase them”, Robert Dumbrill.
Mr Nkansah is certain that “Hard work only works as hard as you do and the level of success reached will only be as high as the work invested.”
The Fashion Road Awards 2021 will have a wide audience the world over and is expected to garner huge media and social media clout.
